I am a researcher in mathematical physics at the National Taiwan University (NTU).

Before moving to Taiwan, I was a doctoral candidate (Ph.D. student) at a dual PhD programme at two universities, in this case at the University of Geneva in Switzerland and the Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University in France.

After successfully defending my Ph.D. thesis at 31 May 2021 I started working here in Taiwan on 1 October 2021, and on 1 March 2022 I finally came to Taiwan and immediately started to love my new home. I started exploring Taiwan and its culture, and shortly after my arrival I started learning Chinese in a 1-on-1 Chinese course which I am attending until this day. I appreciate my new life here and the working environment so much that I would like to stay here permanently.

My current job is until end of September 2024, I hope to find a new job here!

I have a golden Alien Resident Card so that the visum is already given, and I have no restriction in the type of job I am allowed to pursue.
